A collection of twelve companion pebbles and a star all cast using your loved one’s ashes. These pebbles will be made using moulds of different shapes and sizes and will include at least one heart pebble. Some will be smooth with a waxed finish and some will be textured with a crackled effect mimicing the colour tones and marking variants found in natural pebbles on a beach.
This selection of pebbles can be displayed in a wooden or glass bowl, or the pebbles can be individually placed in different rooms to hold space for a loved one. they can be kept, given as gifts to friends and family or placed in rivers or streams as returning stones.
They will be presented in a set of three hessian tie-string pouches for safekeeping.
PEBBLES ON A BEACH
Our concrete is made using locally sourced crushed granite dust to which we add a polymer bonding agent to make the concrete frost proof and waterproof. Cement dye is added to create natural tones. The pebbles are waxed and polished at the final part of the process. As you handle the companion pebbles the natural oils from your skin will enhance the patina over time. For the smooth pebbles you can use a quality furniture polish to care for your pebble and keep it shiny if you choose.
